Terms of Use

These terms cover your use of Amigos, the group trip expense app at amigospay.app and in the Amigos iPhone app, operated by Parablok ("we", "us"). By using Amigos you agree to them.

What Amigos does

Amigos helps a group keep track of shared trip expenses and works out who owes whom. It is a record-keeping and calculation tool. Amigos does not hold, send, or process money. Any payment between trip members happens outside Amigos, between you and them.

Your account

• You sign in with your email address. Keep access to that inbox secure; anyone who can open your sign-in emails can use your account.
• You can delete your account at any time from your profile in the app.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use Amigos.

Trip data

• Everything added to a trip (expenses, amounts, names, receipt photos) is visible to every member of that trip.
• You are responsible for what you enter. Only add people, amounts and receipts you have the right to share with the group.
• Balances and suggested payments are calculated from the expenses members enter. Check the numbers with your group before paying anyone; we are not responsible for amounts entered incorrectly or for payments made between members.

Acceptable use

Don't use Amigos to break the law, harass anyone, send spam through invites, or try to access trips or accounts that aren't yours. We may suspend accounts that do.

The service

Amigos is provided "as is". We work to keep it running and your data safe, but we don't guarantee it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, Parablok is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of Amigos.

Changes

We may update these terms. Changes will be posted here with a new date. Continued use of Amigos after a change means you accept the updated terms.
