Amigos ("we", "us", or "our") is a group trip expense tracking app operated by Parablok, available at amigospay.app and as an iPhone app. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

What We Collect

• Email address and name - used to sign you in and to show you to the other members of your trips.
• Trip and expense data - trip names, locations, expenses, amounts, how they are split, payments you record, and the names and emails of people you add or invite. This is only visible to members of the same trip.
• Receipt photos - if you attach one to an expense, it is stored with that expense and visible to members of that trip. Reading the text on a receipt happens on your device.
• Usage analytics - basic, cookie-free page and feature usage on our website and web app, counted with our own self-hosted analytics. No advertising IDs or fingerprinting.

What We Don't Collect

• We do not collect payment information. Amigos does not process payments.
• We do not sell your data to third parties.
• We do not use your data for advertising.

Emails We Send

We send sign-in links, trip invites, payment confirmations, end-of-trip summaries, settle-up reminders, and breakdowns you request. Reminders stop once you are settled up, and each reminder email has a link to stop them.

How We Store Your Data

Your data is stored securely and encrypted in transit and at rest. We keep it while your account is active.

Service Providers

We use trusted service providers to host Amigos, store data, deliver email, and handle optional sign-in. They process your data only to provide these services to us, and never to market to you.

Deleting Your Data

You can delete your account at any time from your profile in the app (Delete Account). This removes your login and profile; trips you were part of stay for the other members, with your name shown as "Deleted User". You can also ask us to access, correct, or delete your data through our Contact us form.

Children

Amigos is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted here with a new date. Continued use of Amigos after changes means you accept the updated policy.
